Attorney Michael Fayard

The Best Chance at a Good Defense? Knowing the Offense.

There are two sides to every case—offense and defense. Attorney Michael Fayard has fought for both, which gives your case a strong advantage. Being a former prosecutor in Florida and Hawaii, creating a game plan for the offense became second nature to Michael. Now as a defense attorney, he knows the plays and techniques they’ll try and use against you, and he uses this to his advantage.

Reducing Your Stress Levels with Faster Results

To say that going to court and facing hearings are ‘stressful’ would be an understatement. The uncertainty of the legal process, the unknowns, and the sheer time it takes can weigh heavy. A bad result can impose on your life, negatively impact your reputation, and cause you additional stress if (and more likely when) your friends, family, and coworkers find out about your charges. With this in mind, Attorney Michael Fayard works towards your best result without the unnecessary delay that comes with other inexperienced lawyers. He puts his unique knowledge of the prosecutorial process to work, grinds the state down, and forces their hand to resolve the case with the best result and as quickly as possible.

He can help keep your record clean by getting your charges dismissed, or getting a reduction of the charges to a lesser criminal charge or even a civil violation. This comes from knowing the local prosecutors and judges and knowing what to look for with the evidence in your case. Sometimes that evidence is collected without a warrant or in an otherwise invalid manner and can be thrown out. If the evidence is thrown out, sometimes your entire case will be dismissed.

On Your Side and At Your Side

Getting you the best result in your case is Michael Fayard’s number one goal, but it’s not his only goal. It’s also his mission to provide excellent customer service to every one of his clients. When you have a lot on your mind, the last thing you need is an attorney who doesn’t seem to have your back. Even if he isn’t able to pick up the phone on your first try, he’ll give you a call back normally the same day, but at maximum within 24 hours. And you’ll quickly realize that talking with him is like talking to an old friend—someone you can rely on and trust because he listens first, analyzes your problem, only then does he take action.

If you are facing a misdemeanor, felony, or administrative issue, attorney Michael Fayard can guide you. He can help you protect your reputation and your freedom by helping you navigate through criminal charges, and maintain your professional license if it is at risk. It’s important to work with someone who can handle your criminal charges as well as any administrative issues that may arise so you don’t have to pay legal fees twice or deal with the administrative body alone.

Trekking Forward Where Others Pass You Off

Attorney Michael Fayard offers representation in both state and federal courts. Why does this matter? Because in the unlikely event that your case is transferred to the federal court, you’ll have a familiar face representing you. Where other attorneys who lack the experience will need to refer you to someone else. Someone who isn’t familiar with your case, and more importantly, your character.

Throughout Attorney Fayard’s legal career, he has handled a diverse range of legal cases and issues. He has represented clients in both jury and bench trials in criminal defense cases, personal injury claims, DUI cases, car accidents, drug cases, family law cases, personal bankruptcies, and general civil cases. Now he is focusing his practice on criminal defense and family law matters in Honolulu, Hawaii and neighboring islands.

Attorney Fayard tirelessly fights for his clients, and his excellent case results show it. In addition to his jury trial experience, he has successfully represented clients in thousands of contested court hearings, bench trials, mediations, and arbitrations.

From Protecting You on the Battlefield to Protecting You in the Courtroom

Attorney Fayard is a proud veteran, having served as an enlisted soldier in the Active Duty Army, the Air Force Reserve, and the Army National Guard. He was also Commissioned as an Armor Officer in the Army where he was assigned to JAG.

With this knowledge and experience, attorney Michael Fayard is prepared to represent you at military administrative hearings. He knows that those hearings are unique and often require specialized knowledge. He will gather the necessary information, present it to the officers in a positive light, and help protect your career and future.
